For decent drinks and indecent entertainment. Comfortable lounge chairs, large-group-area and barstools to watch keeper Joschka and Alex juggling. Opulent choice of Gins, Whiskeys, Vodkas, Tequilas and rums. Even gimmick drinks like Pisco Sour mean no challenge to the team.
Small fine selection of cigars.

My (regular) pub since 1972. Classic Berlin pub with a number of beers and typical snacks: rissoles (kind of hamburger), meat loaf, pretzel sticks. You come hear to chat, play card or table football or simply to wash the day down with a couple of beers. Very old-style, extremly nice.

Offshoot of the successful Hamburg «VIN AQUA VIN », wine trade and wine shop, 300 European wines, focus on German wines.
Pleasant decor in trendy shabby look.
Boeuf bourguignon, poulet au vin and tartlets with e.g. Spinach.
In Weserstraße you'll find restaurants, cafes, bars. Very lively: genuine capital city - with an appearance of alternative life design.

Enjoying that marvellous view over the lake and an (expenisiv!) beer – just wonderful.
This pleasure can hardly be diminished by hundreds of other who had the same idea or by the highly overpriced pizza decorated frugally with the cheapest salami-imitation and baked badly. Well – that's the price you have to pay for living in a metropole. Outstanding nevertheless!
· Parking practically impossible.
· Self service (look closely!)
· Rowing boats for rent

Berlin's oldest beer garden, founded in 1837 (they say), seating on picnic benches for 600 people.
Shaded by the old chestnut trees you sit nicely and breath the feeling of a capital city.
Excessively overpriced as it is self-service only and only basic (convenience-)food: Bratwurst (3 / 3.50 €) potato salad, Pretzel (2.50 €).
The rather simple restaurant, too, asks rather above-average prices: Viennese Schnitzel 21€ fried chicken 18.50€(!) — but it's a very charming place nevertheless.
· Prefer beer in bottles – they don't fill glasses well with draft.
· Open only when weather allows for between April and September.
